One of life’s greatest burdens is birthdays. Ugh, birthdays! And if your own weren’t bad enough, you’re also expected to get a funny birthday gift for your friends. It’s enough to make you retreat to a cave somewhere with no calendars marking the inevitability of aging.

Well, wait! Before you do that, check out this candle! It’s a great birthday gift, because you don’t have to put any thought into it. It’s perfect for anyone who is both literate and old enough to be responsible around candles. (Well, maybe “perfect” is a stretch. Let’s say it’s “suitable.” It’s a suitable birthday gift.)

And the best part is, it smells like birthday cake, which means 1) You don’t have to actually get them a birthday cake, and 2) You can tell them that smelling a birthday cake candle is actually healthier for them than eating cake. After all, they’re not getting any younger!

Perfect!

It’s what to give when you don’t know what the hell to five Hilarious! And who doesn’t love a candle, indeed.

Who does not love Birthday Cake?

As before, so after...my second Birthday Cake gift candle was consumed with the eyes of the recipient and then the nasal passages. A confirmed hit to all the senses - and the funny bone is being added to the traditional list of senses for the occasion.
Thanks to you and your candles, I always manage to look thoughtful and clever. It's witchcraft!

A hit! A hit, I tell you!

My son, an outstanding wit and raconteur, absolutely LOVED his birthday candle. He sat down and read out every bit of info both on it, and with it, out loud and with much guffawing. I considered not getting him anything else, in keeping with the candle's message, but gave in and picked up some of his favourite Irish food items (we're in America, so this is a sign of undying love because they're pretty expensive hereabouts). He did not even look at his gifts. He old had eyes for his candle. *breaking news* He sent an email (because I am old and have no texting facilities...as in...no iPhone) to say he lit it and it smelled delicious. I daresay many of his circle of friends (or rather amorphous blob of amis) will be receiving the same birthday gift in the near future. Cheers!
